Because of the precision and high speed of Wire EDM machines, manufacturers are increasingly discovering that many parts can be more economically produced with wire EDM , rather than with conventional machining. Many unique machining processes can be performed that can only be done with Wire EDM. Conventional machining leaves sharp edges and often burrs when machined, whereas materials cut with Wire EDM are totally burr-free, eliminating filing or sanding operation. To be competitive in today’s market it is important to take advantage of every cost-saving procedure available.

It is almost impossible to manufacture Press Tools and Moulds without Wire EDM machines.

We have high speed FANUC Japan Wire EDM machine and Super EDM machine ensuring fast turnarounds. Also we work 24/7 to help us meet our production commitments.

The biggest concern of PHOENIX is quality and in time job delivery. We wire EDM parts as accurate as 0.002mm and surface finish upto Ra 0.30.

With our 4 axis capabilities, we can machine complex profiles. When it comes to suiting punch and die we can either press or slip fit as per customer requirements.

When we say quality we should have appropriate precision measuring instruments. PHOENIX has got TESA Height Master (Swiss made), Digital Micrometer, Dial Vernier, Dial Gauge, Slip Gauges, Pin Gauges.

Also our Customers have the flexibility to send the drawings any time via e-mail. We accept hard copy drawings as well.

b)SLIP GAUGES :
A slip gauge is a precision ground and lapped length measuring standard. Slip gauges are used to measure the length or width of a slot as accurate as 0.005mm. Slip gauges come in sets of blocks of various sizes. Two or more blocks are wrung together to form a stack of required dimension.

c)PIN GAUGES :
These are precision ground cylindrical bars used to measure the diameter of a hole. Pin gauges also come in a set of various sizes. We got pin gauges starting from dia 1.00mm to dia 5.00mm in step of 0.01mm.


d) OUTSIDE MICROMETER (DIGITAL) -
(MITUTOYO-JAPAN) :
Precision measuring instrument used to measure small distances that are too small to measure directly, measurements are digitally displayed on the LCD screen. Eg.- Punches, inserts, pins, blocks etc. Least count is 0.001mm. Comes in different sizes. Maximum measurable size available with us is 25.000mm.

e)DIAL CALIPER (MITUTOYO - JAPAN) :
Used to measure the inner and outer dimensions accurately. Least count is 0.01mm. Available size is 150.00mm.

f)DIAL GAUGE (MITUTOYO - JAPAN) :
Used to accurately measure small linear distances, for example to square a job before starting the wire EDM process, to check the perpendicularity of the job, etc. Least count is 0.002mm.
